Kicking off 2023 with a 3 song EP release, Scarlatamusic's Skatepunk Metal brings in fast paced guitar rhythms with soaring lead to elevate and energize the listener. Skatepunk follows up on an album release (Power Through) in April of 2022. The originality of Scarlatamusic's debut release (Metal-Baby) in 2020 initiated as a will call to create an alloy of modern-era metal melded with classic influences. It was through frustrations of unfulfilling band experiences, that revealed a path leading to entirely self-created/produced music. Metal-Baby represents the infancy of an endeavoring ambition, embarked on a forever journey of musicianship.
John Scarlata's Story
Scarlata picked up the guitar during the mid 90's with the desire to learn and jam to his favorite classic metal songs. Primarily self taught, the road towards guitar proficiency revealed to be somewhat arduous, yet the determination to persevere has remained true. After 2 decades of extended guitar apprenticeship with minimum exposure, the debut release of Scarlata's music is available for the world to experience! Future plans include more studio releases and inevitably the forming of a band with the opportunity to perform live on tour.
